Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Remeo. By using the service, you agree to them. We’ve kept them clear and fair.

What Remeo is
Remeo is an AI-powered memory companion. You describe moments from your life, optionally attach photos, and Remeo organises them with AI-generated titles and tags. You can search, browse, and share your memories.
Your account
You need an account to use Remeo. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One account per person — don’t share accounts or create multiple accounts.
Acceptable use
Remeo is for preserving personal memories. You agree not to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content
- Use Remeo to harass, threaten, or impersonate others
- Attempt to access other users’ data or interfere with the service
- Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the service
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code
Your content
You own everything you create in Remeo — your memories, photos, and any other content you upload. We don’t claim ownership of your content.
By using Remeo, you grant us a limited licence to host, store, display, and process your content as needed to provide the service. This includes processing content with AI to generate titles and tags. This licence exists solely to operate Remeo and ends when you delete your content or account.
AI processing
When you save a memory, the content is processed by AI to generate titles and suggest tags. This processing is a core part of the Remeo experience.
Your content is not used to train AI models. It is processed to enhance your experience and then the results are stored alongside your memory. If AI processing fails, your memory is saved exactly as you wrote it.
Payment and subscriptions
Remeo offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. The free tier is free forever with no credit card required.
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, you keep Premium features until the end of your current billing period, then your account reverts to the free tier. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
We may change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes won’t affect your current billing period.
Limitation of liability
Remeo is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the service reliable and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that data will never be lost.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remeo’s liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Service changes
We’re actively building Remeo. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time. We’ll do our best to communicate significant changes, but we reserve the right to modify the service.
Termination
You can close your account at any time from your settings. When you do, all your data is permanently deleted.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behaviour. We’ll provide notice where possible, but reserve the right to act immediately in serious cases.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria, Australia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Remeo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
