How AI Helps You Remember
A plain-language look at how Remeo uses AI to organise your memories — no jargon, no hype.
When people hear "AI-powered", they often imagine something complicated. Chatbots. Dashboards. Prompts. Remeo is none of that.
Here's what actually happens when you capture a memory.
You describe the moment
Open Remeo, write a sentence or two about what happened, optionally add a photo. That's your only job. Everything else is automatic.
For example:
"Took Mum to that Italian place on Lygon Street. She told the story about meeting Dad for the third time and we couldn't stop laughing."
That's it. Hit save.
Remeo reads between the lines
Within moments, AI processes your description and generates:
A title — something like "Dinner with Mum on Lygon Street". Not generic, not robotic. Just a clear, natural summary of what happened.
Tags — family, mum, dining, Melbourne. These aren't random keywords. They're contextual labels that help connect this memory to others — your mum's birthday dinner last year, that trip to Melbourne, other family moments.
Search like you think
Later, when you want to find that memory, you don't need to remember the date or the tags. Just search naturally:
"that time mum told the story about dad"
Remeo's semantic search understands meaning, not just keywords. It finds the memory even though you never wrote those exact words.
What we don't do
We think it's important to be clear about boundaries:
- We don't read your memories for training. Your data is never used to improve AI models.
- We don't store your data insecurely. Row-level security means your memories are isolated at the database level.
- We don't sell your data. No ads, no data brokers, no third parties.
- We don't require AI. If AI processing fails for any reason, your memory is saved exactly as you wrote it. AI enhances — it never blocks.
The goal
AI in Remeo has one job: remove friction. The fewer decisions you need to make, the more likely you are to actually capture the moment. And the more moments you capture, the richer your story becomes.
That's it. No magic. Just a quiet companion doing the organising so you don't have to.
